STORY: Bakers receive advice from Mono and Dawn

More than 20 bakers recently joined Dawn Foods and Mono Bakery Equipment at a doughnut masterclass held at Mono’s on-site test bakery in Swansea.

The practical insight sessions held over two days took the bakers through every process of cake and yeast donut production from mixing, moulding and proving to frying, filling and finishing.

Several innovative flavour combinations and formats were experimented with including Peanut Butter Crunch, Lemon Meringue and Puddle Doughnuts.

The hands-on event saw bakers participating in the process of creating premium/gourmet decorated doughnuts using Mono equipment and Dawn ingredients as well as hearing tips from the experts on how to make the most of doughnuts.
