STORY: ABST Conference 2020 cancelled

A statement from the ABST:

Dear Students/Trainee members, 

The ABST committee had high hopes that we would be able to avoid cancelling our 2020 conference, but it seems that this would be impossible. We are dedicated to following the government guidelines and we understand that this would make the conference unsafe. 

Although you will be disappointed, we can say with confidence that we will be back with the best conference yet in 2021, and we hope to see you all there. For the graduating students of 2020, we would like to offer you to attend conference 2021 at the standard student price. Anyone who has paid membership for 2020 will be entitled to reach out to the ABST committee for support and you will receive half price membership for 2021.

We look forward to seeing you again at conference 2021, which will be held at Alton Towers Hotel on the 11th-13th June.
