STORY: Fatherson Bakery creates range of traybakes

Award-winning business Fatherson Bakery has launched a range of five new traybakes.

“With five delicious tray bake flavours to choose from, we have taken the hard work out of home baking, giving consumers the taste of homemade from cupboard to table in seconds," says Laurence Smith, baker, owner and managing director at Fatherson Bakery.

"Shoppers can choose from Millionaire Shortbread, Chocolate Rocky Road, Fruit Flapjack as well as staple classic favourites Bakewell Slice and Chocolate Crispie – all handmade and hand-decorated, using the very best-in-class ingredients that won the hearts and minds of our consumer taste test panel. Plus all tray brakes are packaged in a beautiful card tray and are suitable for vegetarians.”

All products are baked in Britain and is made in small batch production. 

Millionaire Shortbread: An all-butter shortbread base topped with layers of smooth caramel, drizzled with milk chocolate and feathered with white chocolate. RRP: £4.50

Chocolate Rocky Road: Nuggets of golden honeycomb meet layers of crunchy digestive biscuit, cherries and marshmallows, bound together by milk chocolate and a drizzled white chocolate decoration. RRP: £4.50

Fruit Flapjack: Award-winning and British milled wholegrain rolled oats, which are folded into a combination of butter, soft brown sugar, Golden Syrup, mixed sultanas, raisins, and glacier cherries. RRP: £4.15

Bakewell Slice: An almond sponge on a shortcrust base layered with raspberry jam, and made with free-range eggs. RRP: £4.15

Chocolate Crispie: Classic crispness meets chocolate, and is decorated with colourful chocolate button. RRP: £4.15
