STORY: My Baker celebrates second birthday

My Baker, the company that sells artisanal cakes made by a network of independent bakers, is celebrating its second birthday with a prize draw.

The winner will get their hands on a bespoke cake and cake consultation (worth £250) for an event of their choosing, if they sign up for My Baker’s Birthday Campaign.

The My Baker Birthday Campaign is a reminder service that ensures subscribers never miss a birthday by sending a reminder two weeks before their birthday (and each additional birthday they’ve submitted), along with a 10% discount code.

“We’re proud of our achievements thus far as we celebrate our second birthday," says My Baker's CEO Mark Sinjakli. 

"There’s nothing that gives us greater satisfaction than getting positive feedback from our customers who tell us that they love our cakes. We can’t wait to see what the future brings for My Baker, and we hope that everyone gets as much joy out of our cakes as we get making them.”

Sinjakli, along with his baker wife Mel, bought My Baker from its original owners in June 2020. The pair had always been very impressed with the My Baker platform and felt with their combination of baking talent and business acumen, they could propel My Baker to even greater success. 

They are now on a mission to expand My Baker beyond its traditional heartlands of London, the Southeast, and Birmingham, to a UK-wide business.

Though the Sinjaklis have changed some aspects of My Baker since their takeover, the core vision remains the same: "to generate orders for discerning customers, and have them fulfilled by highly talented artisanal bakers"
