STORY: Bakels achieves AA BRC accreditation

British Bakels, the manufacturer for the bakery and confectionery sectors has achieved a grade AA standard, following their latest BRCGS audit in June 2021.

Adopted by over 20,000 sites in 130 countries, the BRC accreditation leads the way in food safety and accepted widely across the food industry. Managing the product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.

British Bakels continue to show a strong performance in the audit, which reflects their commitment to food safety standards throughout its business. The standard heads up a series of certifications across the business, including Soil Association, UTZ and Halal.
