STORY: Patisserie Valerie reveals Mother's Day plans

National bakery and café brand Patisserie Valerie has revealed cakes and a special afternoon tea experience will be available for nationwide delivery as part of its Mother's Day celebrations.

Freshly baked scones cream and jam, delicate finger sandwiches, and cakes and pastries will all feature in the afternoon tea, which will also be served in Patisserie Valerie cafés across the UK. 

Handcrafted by its master bakers, Madame Valerie’s Afternoon Tea for Two (£25, excluding delivery) features miniature patisserie, including strawberry and black forest gateaux, chocolate eclairs, choux buns and the Madame Valerie Slice (combining layers of chocolate sponge, salted caramel and chocolate cream).

The Madame Valerie Afternoon Tea will be served at its 43 café locations across the UK – priced at £32.95, the in-store afternoon tea experience also includes artisan sandwiches, a hand-crafted selection of bespoke cakes and eclairs, homemade scones and refillable tea.

Cakes for Delivery

Patisserie Valerie has also created two cakes to celebrate Mother's Day.

Customers can opt for the Lemon Vanilla Heart (£34.95), featuring layers of vanilla sponge, fresh cream, lemon and strawberry compote, encased with dark chocolate sticks and topped with fresh lemon buttercream rosettes and strawberry filling; or the Strawberry Gateaux Love Heart (£34.95) with layers of vanilla sponge, fresh cream, and strawberry compote, encased with dark chocolate sticks and topped with fresh cream rosettes and strawberry filling.

Patisserie Valerie’s Mother’s Day range is available to pre-order from 3-20 March with deliveries made on or before Mother’s Day (27 March). Large cakes are available online for nationwide delivery and via Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
