University College Birmingham's 2nd Annual Bakers Gathering Event

This is a free Networking Event for the bakery, patisserie, chocolate, machinery and associated industries.

There will be a number of distinguished guest speakers including:

Stanley Cauvain: Bakery Consultant and Director of Baketran

and Simon Taylor: General Manager RONDO Great Britain.

There will be a free hot buffet lunch in the UCB Flagship eatery “The Restaurant @ UCB” and also an opportunity for the graduating bakery degree students to show you around UCB's fantastic bakery/patisserie & bakery science facilities.

As well as meeting other industry members it’s also the perfect opportunity to develop links between University College Birmingham (the largest provider of Bakery Qualified College & University level students in the UK) and to talent spot some of our graduating Bakery and Patisserie Technology Degree students.

Parking is available at the Pay & Display Paradise Circus Carpark, Brindley Dr, Birmingham B1 2NB just 2 minutes walk from the Summer Row Campus.

10:00 - 10:30 Reception @ Cakes & Bakes

10:30 - 10:45 Welcome from Professor Kali Davidson, Head of the College of Food at University College Birmingham.

Followed by: Stanley Cauvain: Bakery Consultant and Director of Baketran: with Q&A
