STORY: Bakels shares festive toolkit to support bakers

With Christmas on the horizon, British Bakels has launched its latest campaign with top tips on how bakers can maximise the festive period.

The initiative is designed to help bakers bring simple cheer to their bakeries with assets including downloadable recipes, POS and social media content.

British Bakels’ new Christmas brochure, “Recipe Inspiration: Upgrade Your Festive Bakery” is available now at britishbakels.co.uk, and features the above along with tips on Yuletide bakery and free support materials.

The downloadable print and cut point of sale posters come in A3 and A4 size with the message “Step inside to enjoy the festive taste of Christmas”.

Also available are two sizes of colour counter-top display cards, and a shelf wobbler, all with the same cheery colours and patterns. Bakers just need a colour printer and paper or card, and a bit of handicrafts skill to brighten their bakery this December.

Bakers can also download a template to create posts, carousel and multiple-image style, to publish on their Instagram and Facebook accounts, including the same wording and design that’s on the POS. So if bakers’ customers have seen them on social media, when they get to the shop, they’ll get the message immediately.

“Our consistent message to our customers is that our end-to-end support will help turn our ingredients into your sales," says Michael Schofield, marketing manager for British Bakels.

"So, for December, we’ve come up with an initiative to support those bakeries who don’t have time or resource to make their own Christmas themed assets. They can simply print and cut the POS, keeping up the festive cheer while keeping costs down.

"These colourful posters, wobblers and display cards will help to decorate your bakery this year and if bakers are active on social media, they can use our assets there too. It’s all there on our website, and it’s free.”
